Air France has revealed plans to initiate a novel nonstop route connecting Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport with Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, France. This announcement marks the inaugural direct service between Phoenix and France. Commencing on May 23, 2024, the flights will be facilitated by the Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner aircraft, operating three days a week during the summer season (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). The departure from Paris is scheduled for 10:10 a.m., with arrival in Phoenix at 12:10 p.m. Following departure from Phoenix at 2:10 p.m., the aircraft will reach Paris the next day at 9:15 a.m.
Mayor Kate Gallego expressed enthusiasm about the introduction of nonstop service to Paris, emphasizing its significance in offering convenient travel options to and from Phoenix. She sees this as a pivotal step in supporting the city’s growth and increasing opportunities for exploration and business ventures.
The Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner will feature a three-class configuration, comprising 30 Business seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 228 Economy class seats, with a total capacity of 279. During the summer season of 2024, Air France plans to provide connecting options to over 200 destinations globally from its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
